Sorry.google virus

It is one of the commonly used virus these days, created by hackers to redirect users to a malicious or malware effected websites to steal their personal data, credit card information and web passwords. The tricky part is that even popular antivirus and internet security softwares can miss to catch these redirects. Hackers are smart and they know how the antivirus program works. They can easily cheat an antivirus software.

In this method I am going to show you how to fix and remove the redirect virus manually. First of all make sure to run an anti malware and anti hijacker software on your PC. There are several available for free. It will make sure to remove any redirect virus available in their database. If your issue is fixed then your computer is safe now. However if you still face the issue then follow the below method.

If you are seeing any extra IP addresses or website name inside your hosts file then remove it. In order to edit the file you will need to grant administrator privileges to the file. You can now edit the hosts file. In my case it is wireless connection. A popup window will appear, Right click on the connection and click on Status. As shown in the screen shot. The General windows will open. Click on Properties as shown in the below screen shot. Anonymous said on February 14, at pm.
